The Husqvarna 430XH, my friends and fellow gardener enthusiasts, is the third model we got our hands on in Husqvarna's Automower line.

This is actually the top model they've got, specifically designed for middle to large gardens that offers twice as much and then some more battery time than one lower model Husqvarna Automower 315X. But also accordingly costs a bit more.
First impressions
We gave it a try on our back yard at Columbia Florist and when the HUSQVARNA AUTOMOWER® 430XH finishes its task, the first thing you immediately notice is how even and uniformed the lawn looks. Definitely no lumps and or any kind of bumps caused by long grass that bug the eye.
Who is Husqvarna 430XH for?
If you're in need of a robotic lawn mower that can handle up to 3inch long grass, connects to your smartphone for easy control, has GPS capability, works even under rain, charges up in just 50 minutes and gives you a mowing time of up to 150 minutes on a single charge, this is the machine to go!
It's mainly designed for big lawn that requires constant mowing and has a lot of obstacles and inclines in it. It's also preferred for sports fields and has seen a lot of commercial use in various areas.
What you should know?
Husqvarna Smarthome Connectivity
As it takes away the tedious task of mowing your garden away from you, it also doesn't even require you to get off your couch to start it up when your grass needs a bit of clipping. As with most other Husqvarna robotic lawn mowers in the Automower series, this model too connects with smart devices you have at home such as Amazon's Alexa and Google Home. Which means all you need to do to get it up and running is just give it a simple voice command.
It'll wake up right away and silently start mowing your lawn, and drive right back to its charging station when its need more juice or the task is finished for the day.
Maximum Visibility
Robotic mowers in the Automower line are the only mowers I know of that have headlights like a car! These lights gives you a signal when there's something wrong with the device or there's a malfunction occurs. They also help increase visibility and control in the dark as it's so silent, most of the time you might not even be able to hear it coming.
GPS Connection
It's one of the truly GPS powered robot lawn mowers out there that maps your garden limits using data it receives from satellites. Which ensures it doesn't waste precious time and battery power on places that were already mowed before.
Some parts of your garden might need special care and bit more attention due to the type, length, and thickness of the grass. When the sensors 430X has notices that section of your garden isn't on par with the rest of your garden it automatically adjusts its mowing pattern and concentrate on that area more using its GPS technology.
It is a must-have feature when evenly cut grass is important for your needs.
Slopes?
No problem!
Being a commercial, heavy duty robot lawn mower, the Husqvarna 430X handles slopes of up to 45%! Even when it's raining and the surface is slippery.
Maintenance
Although it's doesn't require heavy maintenance similar to a gas lawn mower, robot lawn mowers are still not maintenance free, regardless of the brand and model. But the task is couldn't be simpler as there's no oil change, gas refills or spark plug changes.
All you need to do is turn the device off for safety, flip it over and check each one of the 3 cutting blades and the circular plate.

- Intact and not broken
Husqvarna robotic lawn mowers come with 9 replacement blades. Feel free to replace them if you need to.
One last thing you should be doing to increase the longevity of your Husqvarna 430X robot lawn mower is, after you're done checking the blades and making sure they're still sharp, get a stiff brush and just clean off all the grass clippings and remains that are left under and around the device.
One last thing I like to do is clean up the long pet hair that the wheels might collect. It's especially important if you have, let's say a horse or a long haired dog. Long hair tangled up with the wheels might affect the device's performance over time. Could possibly make it slower and harder to maneuver.
